The African Dance workshop for your event
Africa is made up of many different countries and thousands of tribes and all have there individual traditional dance moves which means that learning african dance can be so much fun! Dance in Africa is traditionally used for a variety of reasons such helping people work, mature, praise or criticize members of the community while celebrating festivals and funerals, competing, reciting history, proverbs and poetry.

African dancing is a great way to have a good time and learn about a new culture. SSA Dance have put together an amazing workshop that incorporates the major elements of African Dance for participants both young and old to enjoy. With sounds of the big drums providing the music and the life of the workshop participant are filled with energy from the outset. Our African dance classes get the whole class involved dancing and smiling with joy! All workshops are structured and consist of warm up a cool downs. The African dance class is extremely popular and normally requires at least two to three weeks booking in advance.

Requires a Medium - Large sized room to accommodate
artists and students ( must be held in a different room from all other workshops

Please note; workshops may involve music which sometime can be at a loud volume which can affect certain participants with either hearing problems or disabilities such as Autism.
If you feel that there may be certain tasks or aspect of the workshop your children may struggle with, please lets us know and we will be happy to accommodate.
SSA practitioners will always asses the level and ability of the class before the any session begins.
